The Rev. Kirby Shenk of Luray will be the speaker at revival services to be held at Gid Brown Hollow Church through Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is cordially invited.
Stewart Palmer of Washington was declared winner of the feed patch contest sponsored by the Rappahannock Game and Fish Club. He received a check in the amount of $10 from the club. C.G. Thornhill who was unable to attend the meeting was declared second place winner and received a $5 check.
The November PTA meeting of the Washington Elementary School will be held Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the school. The program will be a demonstration of machines used this past summer for the pre-school and correctional reading program and which are in current use for the county schools. The patrons and public are invited to attend.
A Game Night is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 18 at the fire hall in Flint Hill beginning at 8 p.m. Proceeds of the event will benefit the fire company.
