A forum for public comment on proposed improvements to Route 729 at its intersection with Route 615 is scheduled to be held Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Amissville Fire Department firehouse, 14711 Lee Highway (U.S. 211).
Improvements planned include constructing a new roadway to reduce the sharpness of the curve and widening. This is a safety improvement to increase sight distance at the intersection and is part of the Rappahannock County secondary road plan.
