Relay for Life
meeting slated
There will be a meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at the Flint Hill fire hall beginning at 7 p.m. for all chairpersons of the Rappahannock County Relay for Life, American Cancer Society. If you were a chairperson last year or are interested in being a chairperson for the Year 2000 Relay, please attend this meeting. The tentative dates for the Year 2000 Rappahannock County Relay for Life are May 19-20 and will be held tentatively at the Rappahannock County Elementary School. Representative to
visit county Nov. 18
Mrs. Donna Crowley, a representative of Congressman Frank Wolf, will visit the town of Washington on Thursday, Nov. 18.
Mrs. Crowley will be available to talk with constituents who need assistance or have problems of a Federal nature, such as with the Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, Immigration and Naturalization Service, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Veterans Affairs, etc.
Citizens are also welcome to express their opinions on matters of concern, particularly national topics or issues before the United States Congress.
Mrs. Crowley will be at the Rappahannock County Extension Office from 2 to 3 p.m.

Authors Weekend
at Gray Ghost
