Natalie Hathaway of Sperryville found a dead deer on her property next to her driveway on Friday, Nov. 5. She lives directly across from Country Manor on U.S. 211. The deer had apparently been shot dead in its tracks, according to Roy Atkins who is a cattle raiser.
