Benefit dinner planned
The Amissville Fire and Rescue Company will sponsor a ham and turkey benefit dinner on Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Amissville fire hall. All proceeds will benefit the company. The meal will include ham, turkey, veggies, breads, applesauce, drinks and desserts.
RCCA to hold first meeting
The Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance (RCCA) will hold its first meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 17, at the Washington Town Hall and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. “We will introduce board members, report on our activities, inspire you to donate to this most worthy cause, and ask for volunteers to serve on committees including Finance, Nominating, Promotion/Outreach/Membership and Strategic Planning. Join us and learn how we can preserve our county as a scenic rural community,” said an organizer. Come early (7:15) for refreshments and socializing!
