Though this decision was difficult for all, Kramer cottage resident Claudia Mitchell’s email to RappNet on the day following the hearing summarized well the process: “Even though I was very disappointed in the Town Council’s decision to allow the demolition of the Kramer Cottage I have to make one comment. It is very heartening to see the citizens of the town on BOTH sides of this emotional issue be able to go through this lengthy process and remain civil and polite at all times.
