I want to thank all of you who came out and voted last Tuesday. You are the winners as you exercised your right to determine who will represent you in our beautiful county.
I want to congratulate my fellow candidates in the race for Supervisor in the Hampton District. This was an extremely close contest, but everyone remained friendly in the heat of battle.
I especially want to congratulate Bryant Lee—not just because he won the election—but because he showed himself a winner in how he conducted himself during the campaign. I want to thank all of you who came out to vote for me in the election. You are very special to me. I will continue to support you in whatever way I can. I will take Bryant up on his promise to listen if any of you have concerns for the county that need to be addressed.
I have no regrets about this election. This was a great opportunity for me to get out and meet so many of you. I only wish I could have met you all. It was a great blessing to me to talk to you and learn of your concerns. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers in the months ahead.
In a democracy such as ours, I believe it is God’s will that
