UNGERS OF I’ AR As we honor our veterans this year, many of us remember when those of our family were engaged, in war. We think in horror of the dangers faced by our loved ones. We imagine how they must have hungered for their families and the terror of wondering what fate the next day or even the next second would bring. There were so many indescribable horrors. General Robert E. Lee wrote to his daughter Annie, of yet another hunger of war as he said... "One of the miseries of war is that there is no Sabbath, and the current of work and strife has no cessation." As we rise this Sabbath, let us give thanks to our Father in Heaven that we are able to attend weekly worship freely. May we never take for granted that right that we have in our nation. Worship this week with your loved ones as we remember Veterans Day.
