Food Drive
underway
The Amissville Community Christmas Food Drive is now in progress. Sponsored by the Amissville Baptist, Amissville United Methodist and Bethel Baptist Churches and the Amissville Ruritan Club, this is a tradition that has continued in Amissville for nearly two decades! Last year fruit baskets, poinsettias or food baskets were delivered to over 75 friends and neighbors in our area who are elderly, ill or in need of assistance. This has been a great example of the Christmas Spirit in action!
If you would like to be a part of this wonderful project, please deliver your donation of food or money to one of the collection points at C&W Auto, Hackley’s Country Store, Lom-Bar-Dy, Mayhugh’s Store or any of the participating churches before Friday, Dec. 17.
