On Dec. 6 at 1:23 p.m. a larceny occurred from a vehible in Castleton. The owner of the vehicle left his truck at a neighbor’s while he was away jfrom the area. When he Returned, he discovered his compact disc player and several compact discs had been ^tolen. Deputy Mark Currence is investigating.

On Dec. 7 at 4:47 a.m. a door was forced open and an alarm went off at the F.T. Valley grocery store. When Deputy Connie Compton arrived, the door was slightly ajar. But no theft was detected and no suspects were found.

On Dec. 7 at 10:54 a.m. an illegal dumping was reported at the Huntly drop off site on Route 522. A gray truck was illegally dumping sheet rock into the dumpster. By the time the deputies arrived, the culprit had fled. r- On Dec. 8 at 12:44 p.m., Deputy J.C. Welch stopped a motorist for driving with a ‘suspended license in Woodville.
