Morchella Mania
weekend slated
The Smokehouse Winery will host Morchella Mania, a weekend celebration of Morel (Merkels) and other Fungi on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 from 12 to 5 p.m.
There will be Morel and Wild Mushroom inspired foods, music from local talent Warren Phinney and artistic mushroom photo shots orr display. Come taste the new releases: Honeysuckle Metheglin (a honeysuckle Mead) and Braggot (a traditional Celtic drink).
A $10 fee includes tastings, glass of wine, gourmet goods, entertainment and wine glass. Call the winery at 987-3194 for more information and directions.
