PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on Wednesday, May 10,2000, at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Washington, Virginia, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Town Hall on Gay Street, Washington, Virginia, a Public Hearing will be held to consider the adoption of the Town's and Water Work's Budgets for fiscal year 2000-2001. A synopsis of the Budgets is set forth below and a copy of the detailed proposed Budget for fiscal year 2000-2001 is available during normal business hours in the Town Hall at 485 Gay Street and in the Office of the County Administrator of Rappahannock at 290 Gay Street. The final budget will be voted on at the next regularly scheduled Town Council meeting on June 14, 2000 at the Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. All are invited to attend the public hearing on May 10, 2000 and make their views known.
