Birthday wishes are extended to Mrs. Barbara Thorp for Tuesday, Mrs. Turner Foster on Thursday and Kelly Cubbage on Friday. Belated wishes go out to Mrs. Daniel Peregory who added another year on Sunday.

Our sympathy is extended to the family of Mrs. Beulah Fincham Coughlin, a former area resident, who passed away on Tuesday at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby and family were Sunday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory and family on Castleton Ford Road.

Last week was proclaimed as “Volunteer Week” and even though Rappahannock schools were on spring break and didn’t see volunteers we’d like to extend a “belated thank you” to all those volunteers who take of their time to do this volunteer work for our two schools.

Saturday was Earth Day and we hope everyone did their part to protect and preserve our earth, helping to keep it safe and healthy for the future.

Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cave of Route 707 recently visited Mrs. Cave’s brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jenkins in Sperryville.
