Found and Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
John Engle

John William “Jack” Engle, 70, of Elkton died on Saturday, April 15 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Jan. 9, 1930 in Winchester and was a son of the late Vernon and Bertha Moore Engle. ' Mr. Engle retired from Frazier Quarry and had worked at Merck, Reynolds Metals and Genie in Shenandoah.
He also owned and operated Bee Jay Rubber Stamps in Elkton. He was a member of the Elkton Evangelical Presbyterian Church and the Shenandoah Moose Lodge.
On June 17, 1949 he married Betty Haney Engle, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Richard A. “Rick” Engle of Elkton; a daughter, Rebecca E. “Becki” Morris of Harrisonburg; a sister, Jean Hensley of Amissville; a half-sister, Eunice Donges of Plymouth, Ohio; three grandchildren and numerous nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Engle.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, April 18 at Elkton Evangelical Presbyterian Church by the Rev. James Martin. Burial was in the Elk Run Cemetery.
