Russell Benjamin Noakes Sr., 65, formerly of Front Royal died Thursday, April 13 in Jacksonville, Fla.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, April 16 at the AllanDale Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
Mr. Noakes was bom June 17, 1934, son of the late Clarence Dudley and Ida Rose Noakes.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Ann Noakes; a son, Russell B. Noakes Jr. of Jacksonville; three daughters, Virginia, Rose and Wendy, all of Jacksonville and ten grandchildren.
Additional survivors include two brothers, Clarence Dudley Noakes Jr. of Front Royal and Edward Noakes of Flint Hill and eight sisters, Doris Grove, Shirley Vaught, Elsie Kirk, Nancy Laing and Geraldine Lee, all of Front Royal, Marie Groniger of Greensboro, N.C., Mary Parker of Charleston, S.C. and Margaret Mauck of Culpeper.
