Rappahannock should delight in the culture the Maazels bring to their community and praise their generous spirit. A family that gives to its community should be considered an asset and a model to emulate. Such philanthropy enlightens all of our lives.
Hearthstone School does not have grandiose development plans. They don’t pollute the environment. They enrich the community in so many ways as education and the arts always do.
Since many families car pool, the additional traffic generated by the school is minimal. To my knowledge there have been no traffic accidents because of the school. During my daily visits I may pass one car now and again near the school but rarely any more.
I truly hope this community and neighbors will begin to see Hearthstone School in the positive light presented in my letter because opportunities to enhance the education of our children through the arts and music are rare indeed. Let us work together to caringly and lovingly craft such an environment for our children that we may all be proud of the heritage we leave to them.
