He retired from the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal as a male nurse assistant on Aug. 17, 1990 after 37 years of service. The Rappahannock News is proud to name Rev. Pendleton, Citizen of the Week. Anyone traveling the roads in Rappahannock is certainly familiar with Rev. Pendleton from years gone by and his friendly wave.

RCDC to meet
Tuesday, May 2
The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock Library. Agenda items will include updates on the Gore and Robb campaigns, the Relay for Life team event for the American Cancer Society on May 19 and 20, the “parade” season, the Million Mom March on Mother’s Day, and some oldfashioned mini-group brainstorming. Should be fun!
The meetings of the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee are always open to the public. This is a great time for new and old Democrats to check us out and help us out. A time for refreshments and socializing follows every meeting.
