Rooted and Qrounded in Love
A flower among flowers is this baby girl, so recently planted and entrusted to the care of those who treasure every sound and expression. Caregivers nourish her and protect her from harm in the spring of her life.
As she grows older, those who love her will not be able to protect her constantly. Will she still flourish and be oblivious to the heat of peer pressure and the winds of change?
When the apostle Paul was in prison for keeping the faith, he wrote to those he loved who were far away...“that the Lord may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love may have power to comprehend what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of the Lord, which surpasses knowledge...” (Ephesians 3:17-19)
When we worship with our children while they are small and teach them about their God, He will be with them when we cannot...if they are “rooted and grounded in Love.”
