There is no one who can complain about this wonderful weather we are having. Plenty of cool nights, and rain enough to keep the grass and gardens growing with a bumper crop of fruits and vegetables.
It's wonderful to have good friends and neighbors at anytime, but this week they proved it over again, with delicious beans, beets, cabbage and squash they shared with others. This is the way it was when I grew up. Nothing went to waste and the extra was shared with those who didn't have.
It makes lis realize what wonderful people still live in our community.
