I'd like to publicly recognize those who

made Headwaters Summer Workshops 2000 an unqualified success. Because of you, 55 young people were able to intensely explore pottery, sculpting, science crafts, dance, native Virginia gardening, and photography.

First, thanks to the Board of Headwaters (the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation) for encouraging and sponsoring this program. Knowing you were fully behind us made it possible to dream big.

A big thank you to the Virginia Commission for the Arts ( VCA) for providing a full matching grant for this project. Other generous contributors were the Rappahannock Lions Club, the Darby Foundation, and the Rappahannock National Bank. Your support over the years has been invaluable to the growth and enrichment of our young people.
