The pictures that appeared
on the front of last week's Rappahannock News were taken at a Gymkhana (games on horseback, except when you had to run on foot with or without the pony!) to benefit the Old Rag Mountain Pony Club held on July 15. Over $800 was raised and I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for this successful day.
First, I need to thank the great weatherman in the sky. The forecast was lousy for the whole weekend and we ended up with a perfect day for riding. The event was held at beautiful Indian Run Farm through the generosity of the David Semmes and Matt Hatcher families.
