Perhaps you've heard of the "Artist in Residence" program, one of which was Making Waves with Paul Reisler, Rose Marie Prins and Sharon Wyrrick? Or maybe your child was one of the lucky ones to go on a field trip to the Chesapeake Bay or Virginia Science Museum? Or maybe you still remember the wise words and movements of African dancers Paul Kengmo and Joseph Ngwa? These are only a few <3»f the memorable moments of the many performances CEP has helped to bring into our schools.
The mfiin goal for all of these activities has been "to stretch and cqnnect students to the wider World beyond school walls." The school budget forms a portion of the financial backing for this program, but the primary source is all of the people in our community who understand and support this need for our students.
