Pre-auction yard sale slated
A pre-auction house cleaning yard sale to benefit the Child Care and Learning Center will be held on Saturday, Aug. 5 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue. For additional information call 675-3237.
Jenkins family reunion planned
The family of James Virgil and Ada Solome Jenkins will be holding a family reunion on July 30 at the Rappahannock Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. All family and friends are invited to attend.
Soccer registration set
The Rappahannock Soccer League will have open registration at the Rappahannock Library on July 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Deadline for registration is Aug. 12. Children should bring birth certificates. The cost is $35 for first player and $30 for each additional player. There will be a U18 team.
Regional workshop scheduled
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board is conducting a regional workshop on its Performance Contract and Area Plan. The workshop will be held on Aug. 10 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Culpeper Board of Supervisors' meeting room, 302 North Main Street. The public is invited to attend and will be provided an opportunity to make comments.
