Captain Jeff Brown is the Rappahannock Sheriff Office's School Resource Officer and D.A,R.E. officer. This is the first year we have had a school resource officer, it is a new program. I sat down with Captain Brown for a long conversation about the program, as well as his views on community policing, the role of the school resource officer, drinking and driving, and society today. Here are some excerpts from that interview.
