My husband, Judge William Webster,
and I are new homeowners in the area and are reading your paper with interest about the debate over the proposed water treatment plant. While we are too new to the area to know and understand all sides of the dilemma, we srtill feel compelled to share our thoughts with you, fellow landowners in the area and the Town Council.
Bill and I began our property search eight years ago. We researched areas within an hour and a half radius of Washington, D.C. and began the painstaking task of talking to realtors, visiting towns, looking at properties, etc. We finally narrowed our hunt to Fauquier and Rappahannock counties because of the 25 acre development zoning and of course, the lovely mountain views.
