On Wednesday Richard and Rena Burke called on Nina and Elmer Parker in Amissville. On Sunday the Burkes took a ride on Skyline Drive with Die, Michele and Walter Milton Burke and had lunch at Big Meadows. Rodney and Jo Vest and grandchildren returned home on Sunday after spending several days in Fredericksburg. On Sunday, July 16 Dan and Bessie Norman visited the historical area of Harpers Ferry, W.Va. On Thursday they attended the annual bluegrass festival in Mineral, where they enjoyed gospel singing by the Lewis family, Ralph Stanley and the Bluegrass Boys, the Clinch Mountain Boys and the Country Gentlemen.
