The Flint Hill carnival begins this evening and will continue through Saturday, July 29 at the carnival grounds.
Five Star Amusements is again providing rides and concessions. Tonight, Wednesday, is family night and the rides are $8 for the entire evening. All other nights, the rides are $10 all-you-can ride until closing. The carnival starts at 7 p.m. each evening and the parade starts at 6:45 on Friday.
Bill and Joanne Welch and Elizabeth joined others from the Washington Baptist Church in the Phillip and Lillian Terrell home last Saturday evening to celebrate the arrival of the Slovakia choir with a picnic and fireworks.
Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Hawkins of Fredericksburg visited her mother, Edna Lillard on a recent Tuesday.
