the integrity of the Town. Were housing developments and large businesses to arrive, the uniqueness of the Town would be gone forever. To destroy the Town for development sake would truly be sad, indeed, and would turn Washington into a town much like the others we visited.

At present, Washington is one of the most friendly and quaint places we have ever seen. We feel proud and privileged to be part of the area and look forward to meeting our new neighbors in the months to come. Until then, we again urge everyone involved to move slowly and unselfishly in this very important decision so our families and we can all delight in the uniqueness of the area for years to come.
