• The School Board unanimously approved a revised calendar for the 2001-2002 school; year. The first day of school is scheduled for Aug. 27, the last day for June 13, and a spring holiday is scheduled for April 1-5.
• The Board agreed to pro-; vide five days off at Christmas for twelve month employees.
• John Weise requested and received approval for a band trip to New York City next April. He said that 30145 band members would participate, and that the band would compete in a national event, and would also attend a performance of "Les Miserables."
• Mrs. Biggs reported on contributions of a Mac computer and accessories by Brittany Thompson and a 1985 Mazda by H. B. Graves, and Mrs. Fournier announced that she would contribute the 1886 Steinway piano that she had lent to the band room. "This is my gift . . . my legacy to the band program, the music program ... the County," she said.
