We had planned a cemetery trip with friends last Saturday. The top of the 'mountain was covered with snow and it was a cold brisk morning, but an ideal day for being outdoors.
We were to meet in Gid Brown Hollow at 10 a.m., and go to the old Clatterbuck and •Norman cemeteries. There was a Joseph Boston Norman who had served in the Civil War and was buried there without any marker.
If you can provide the correct information about where they are buried the Veterans Administration will provide a marker or a stone. They will furnish markers for all the unmarked graves of veterans who have served their country from the Revolutionary War to the present. They do not provide the base on which the marker is placed.
Those present were Mrs. Mary Wiley, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Norman, Mr. Mike Jackson from Linden, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke (descendants of Joseph B. Norman), Mr. Wayne Baldwin and Sally Keyser.
