Pastor Pendleton’s services did . 1 not stop with the church, he visit- « j ed our homes and communed with >members when they were unable * to attend church. He visited the hospitals, and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever - and wherever there was a need. ^
He attended all meetings and J functions within the Wayland ; Blue Ridge Baptist Association, Inc. until the illness of his wife and he could no longer travel to these functions. In all of Rev. Pendleton's accomplishments lie had a loving and supportive First Lady by his side.
