Charles Dodson
Retired mechanic
Charles William Dodson, 75, of Sperryville, died Saturday, Dec. 9 at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
He was born on Dec. 13, 1924 in Rappahannock County to the late Waymond and Eunice Woodward.
He was a retired mechanic.
Survivors include two daughters, Christine Timbers of Etlan arid Darlene Updike of Slate Mills; six grandchildren; one great-grandson and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Mr. Dodson, was predeceased by his wife Adelaide Virginia Dodson and a son Charles Elvis Dodson.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 13 at Clore-English Funeral Home. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 330 and VFW Post 2524 Honor Guard.
