Woodville’s town

picnic Saturday

All residents and friends of the Town of Woodville are cordially invited to attend the ninth annual “Woodville Festival” to be held Saturday, Sept. 29. Festivities include a roasted pig raised by the Tim Falls family, open microphone and stage, and plenty of great fun for everyone.

The event is free and will be held from 2:30 - 8:30 p.m. at “HB’s Blue Ridge Overlook” off Red Oak Mountain Road in Woodville. Please bring your favorite side-dish and drink to share, your family and friends, and your songs, instruments, poetry and tall tales. No RSVP is necessary. Sharp Rock wins

at State Fair

Sharp Rock Vineyards just won a Gold Medal for their Chardonnay Reserve 2000 at the State Fair of Virginia Wine Competition 2001 in Richmond. Visit Sharp Rock at its web site, www.sharprockvineyards.com. The vineyard is located on Route 707 near Sperryville.
