It was great to see so many people dancing, singing along, laughing and having big fun. We had so many people thanks to the efforts of all the schools, the volunteers and the great coverage of the project in the Rappahannock News.
There were almost as many people involved in making the album and concert happen, so I won’t even try to name individuals. What started with my writing 50 songs with over 600 kids in the Rappahannock Elementary and Hearthstone Schools grew as close to 70 of the county’s musicians, including my co-producers Steve van Dam and Robert “Smiggy” Smith, recorded the songs.
