Robert T. Corbin, 84. of Bealeton, died Friday, Sept. 21 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
He was bom Sept. 13, 1917 in Fauquier County, a son of the late Lewis A. and Nora McIntosh Corbin.
Mr. Corbin served in the U.S. Army during World War II in England. He was a medical technician/corpsman and was honorably discharged after three years of service.
He then worked for many years as a dairy farmer and then a carpenter and builder.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Marlyn M. Corbin and four siblings, Eleanor Bickerton, Virginia Wiseman, Melvin Corbin and James Corbin.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley McKelvey and her husband, Larry of Boston and Nora Crawford and husband, Roy of Bealeton; two sisters, Madeline Hunsberger of Midland and Alma Hawkins of Catlett; two grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; one greatgreat-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchi ldren.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Sept. 24 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton. Interment was in Midland Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Liberty High School ROTC.
