Democrats meet
on Tuesday, Oct. 2
The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will gather on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock Library. The agenda will focus on the Donald McEachin event on Oct. 14 and our Get-out-the Vote plans. Yard signs and campaign materials will be available from the Mark Warner, Tim Kaine and Donald McEachin campaigns.
The Rappahannock Democrats meet on the first Tuesday of every month. All meetings are open to the public. A time for refreshments and socializing follows every meeting. For more information call 6753515 or gorfein@infi.net.

• Monday, Oct. 1 the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors will meet at 2 and 7 p.m. at the courthouse.
• Wednesday, Oct. 3, continued meeting of Washington Town Council from Sept. 19. The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Town Hall. New business items:
A. Consideration and vote on acquiring an option for six months for approximately 18.33 acres of real property and improvements in the Town of Washington
B) Review Draft of Zoning Ordinance
