Photo courtesy ot Hazel Zinn-Day The new 4-H Sewing Club met this month and had 17 members! This club is under the adult leadership of Mrs. Barbara Wheatley. At the first meeting club members learned the parts of the sewing machine and learned how to sew straight lines and circles. The club has five sewing machines provided by Virginia Cooperative Extension they can use, but with 17 members, they would like to have more. If you have an old sewing machine that you would like to donate or to lend for their use, it would be deeply appreciated. Please contact the Extension Office at 675-3619 if you can help.
