The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will have its Fire Prevention Week open house on Oct. 13 as well. I believe the helicopter will be here and maybe even the smoke house.
Hackley’s Country Store will have a Pickin’ Party Oct. 13 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. They will have pork barbecue, a 4-H Bake Sale and 50/50 raffle, and of course, hand dipped ice cream. For more information contact Brad at 937-5373.
