Sheriff’s comments
Sheriff Larry Sherertz reported to the Board that the Sheriff’s Office had significantly underspent on the “jail improvement” budget line item and would be returning excess funds to the County. He said that jail floor repairs and a voice recorder purchase totaled some $23,000 versus the $50,000 that had been budgeted.
