These three officers along with Dr. Maxwell Harway j from Fauquier County and • Mrs. Roberta Anderson from - Rappahannock will be mem• bers of the Board s Executive Committee for 2002. The RappahannockRapidan Community Services •’ Board (RRCSB) is a regional • services provider for local govemments created as a result • of the acts of the Virginia • General Assembly and the ! Federal Older Americans Act. The mission of the RRCSB is to improve the quality of life to citizens of Planning District • 9 who are elderly or who have I disabilities related to mental ' illness, mental retardation • and substance abuse. The RRCSB strives to accomplish this mission through offering a comprehensive array of services in local communities. Fees are assessed for most services and charges based on an assessment of a person’s ability to pay. Third-party insurance payments are also billed for some services. No individual is refused services because of inability to pay. - The Board of Directors meets the second Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at its Bradford Road Building in Culpeper. The Board encourages public comments regarding local needs as they relate to services to individuals who are elderly or disabled.
