Mountaineers from Madison County. Remembering last seasons' drubbing at the bands of the Madison grapplers, the Panthers showed no mercy as they completely reversed the table and won this contest 54 to 2N.

Winning Panthers in this match were Broun, Robinson. Ferdetta. Weise, Smythe. 11 Haynes, Norman, Craves. and Robertson. With this victory, the Panthers secured second place in the tournament and brought home the trophv.

The RCHS .JV wrestling team participated in a meet with 0 other schools at Fauquier High School on Saturday, Jan. f>. In this meet, individual team scores were not tracked, just those of individual wrestlers. Rapp walked away with seven medals:

First place medals went to Billy Tucker at 140 lbs. and And> Piopst at 171. Second place awards went Alexander Sharp at 10.4 pounds, Blair Atkins at 125, Stuart Hensley at l.'lf). and Tommy Voorhies at 171. Kyle Robinson won a third place medal, wrestling at lf>2 pounds.

It was a great holiday wrestling, season for the Panther grapplers and hopes are high for the beginning of some tough Bull Run District competition coming up.
