Super Sitters workshop set
There will be a 4-H Super Sitters Workshop on Saturday. Jan 19 from 10 a m to 3 p m at the Extension Office. This workshop is a training course on babysitting. There will be a first aid section covered by Lisa Pendleton. 4-H volunteer leader.
The rest of the workshop will cover different areas of babysitting and nutrition under the adult leadership of Culpeper County FCS Extension Agent Linda Murphy. This workshop is designed for youth 13 years or older Lunch will be provided Call the Extension Office at 675-3619 to register.
Xew support group to begin
A new support group for Healthy Living will begin weekly Tuesday meetings on Jan. 22 The classes will be held from 6;30 to 8 p.m. at the Virginia Cooperative Extension Office on Gay Street in Washington
In addition to interactive support and motivation, the group will offer nutritional information, guest speakers, recipe exchange, cooking lessons and exercise groups. Putnam to speak at Library
