• At the commencement of the January meeting. Chairman Estes honored Roberta Anderson for the four years-two as chairwomanthat she has served on the Community Services Board, and he provided her with a pin as “a token of our affection and gratitude."
• Frank Warner used the public comments segment to “publicly congratulate the Chairman for being (Rappahannock News) Citizen of the Year," and the Board of Supervisors for again selecting Mr. Estes as its Chair.
• Mr. McCarthy reported that a bill was being offered in the House of Delegates to repeal the truck ban on Route 17, and that he expects information shortly from VDOT on traffic counts in the County that might be used to show the negative impact of that ban on truck traffic in Rappahannock.
