Mrs. Thurza Burke of Washington and Mrs. Sarah Latham of Aniissville will serve as co-chairmen for Rappahannock County's 1962 Heart Fund Campaign.
Mrs. Burke and Mrs. Latham, who will have charge of all fund raising activities, will appoint co-workers for various phases of the campaign to be conducted in February.
Tom Frost in Warren ton was advertising a 1961 Falcon for $2045; a 1959 four door Ford Sedan, fully equipped for $1294 and a 1954 four door Ford Sedan for $194. The ad also focused on low down payments, on the spot financing and used car warranty.
A square dance will he held Friday, -Jan. 12 at the Flint Hill fire hall. Ai Lanham and The Clarke County Ramblers will he providing the music. Admission is $1.25 per person.

Planning Commission Chairman Herbert Barksdale appeared at last Thursday’s meeting of the Rappahannock Board of Supervisors to request that the Supervisors appoint a Planner from Hampton District.
“There's been no representative from Hampton District on the Planning Commission for three to four years,” said Mr. Barksdale and asked that Newbill Miller be named. Mr. Miller was elected for a four-year term.
Connie DelGrosso i 1 Flint Hill will represent Rappahannock County in the Lions International Youth Exchange program which is being sponsored this year for the first time by*the local Lions Club. She is 18. a senior at Rappahannock County High School and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony DelGrosso.
The application from Connie foi the exchange project will go to the Lions Club state headquarters where she will be matched with applications from host families in Europe. She will receive a scholarship of $400 fr'om the Rappahannock Lions Club for expenses and will spend about five weeks before returning home in mid-August.
