JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Town Planner will assist the Planning Director in conducting planning activities and administering zoning and land development ordinances. Responsibilities will also include participation in community planning and joint Town/County comprehensive planning efforts, updating and revising Town ordinances, and zoning enforcement.
QUALIFICATIONS
The application should have a broad knowledge of the principles and practices of Land Use planning and possess strong analytical and communication skills The position requires a degree in planning or a related field with 2 years of professional experience. Master's Degree preferred. Experience with GIS is desirable.
