The Supervisors also discussed the activities of the Citizens Committee Studying Alternate Sources of School Funding, formed last summer to investigate possibilities for school funding other than property taxes. Committee member Bob Dennis expressed his opinion that the Committee needed additional guidance from the Board of Supervisors - that it had not sufficient direction to determine what type of funding sources should be investigated.
