• If you have not been in the RCHS commons area lately, please stop by and check out the new Big Screen Monitor and surround sound speakers that have recently been installed. The students are able to view CNN when they arrive at school in the mornings and during lunch. Eventually, students will be able to watch RCHS highlights of sporting events, Scholastic Bowl competitions, band concerts and the like. We just can’t hide that Panther Pride!

• Mr. Dennis Kellison, Effective Schools Consultant and Superintendent of the Winchester City Schools, ’who recently completed an Effective Schools audit of our school system, will present the results of his study on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 3:45 p.m. in the RCHS auditorium.

All parents, staff and other interested citizens are invited to attend the presentation to find out where the Rappahannock County Public Schools are in the Effective Schools process. The Study was funded by the Greve School Council, and Headwaters-the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation.
