He was a member of the Sperryville United 'Methodist Church, Rappahannock Lions Club, Rappahannock Republican Party and he taught at Georgia Military Academy during the 1940's.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased bv his wife, Mescal Wagner Chrisman.
Survivors include twd daughters, Alice McKinney of Sperryville and Nancy Chrisman of Columbia, Md.; a son, Campbell Chrisman III of Hughesville, Md.; one brother, T)an Chrisman of Roanoke; a sister, Hilda Pendleton of North Carolina; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted on Saturday at Sperryville United Methodist Church with Rev. Merlin Shorb officiating. Burial was in the Sperryville Cemetery.
Clore-English Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
