The historic survey is designed to provide the first comprehensive inventory of all the historic properties in the county. This effort is in line with AACA’s objectives of maintaining and promoting the village’s heritage and rural character.
It is felt that the survey will be an important to increasing resident’s awareness of the number and background on historic homes in the village. As part of its own efforts the Association is posting a “Village History” page to its website. Check the Amissville website at http//:www.amissville.com for more information.
