This was just another of Headwaters attempts to inform the public of important issues facing our school system.
• The last home Academic Challenge Team meet was on Monday at RCHS. Results were not available at press time. You still have one opportunity to cheer them on at the District meet at Strasburg on Thursday evening, Jan. 31. We will report the results of the two meets as soon as they are available.
• Winter session classes of Adult Education have begun, and students are busily working in a variety of areas! Basics Repairs is in full swing on Mondays with one phantom student (don’t ask!). Basics of Investing, Word Processing, Basics of Excel (spreadsheets), Basic Culinary Techniques, and Web Page Design are up and running as well.
These kinds of classes and others are available through our program twice each year, thanks to the support of our community, and the generosity of our talented instructors. Look for information on our fall program this summer.
